Welcome to Room 18's blog for 2020. We are an energetic Year 4 class. We are very lucky to have two teachers this year, Mrs Morris and Mrs Mattsson. We are looking forward to working together and learning lots of exciting and new things this year! Check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.
Kia ora koutou! Marcus your course looked like a lot of fun. Maia, well done on learning about deer. Do you eat the deer your dad hunts? Thanks to everyone who's sent enviro work like mandelas and bike surveys. Remember to check the GreenGold Enviro blog for new challenges. Looking forward to getting back in the school garden next week and seeing you all, Mrs Daniel
Thanks for all the fantastic work today! Marcus-you created a fun obstacle course and you were clever inserting your video into the slide. Your Maths problems will challenge your class mates. Maia-your Dad is a keen deer hunter. You will be looking forward to turning 10 and joining him. Jordan-fun riddles thank you. I put the answers on Slide 23. Lithara-you shared your 5+ Day food and provided us with challenges. Sayuni-great dancing and art. Maddie-thank you for teaching us the Maori words for fruit. Alistair-you created an interesting diet for astronauts. Splendid work Marcus, Maia, Jordan, Lithara, Sayuni, Maddie and Alistair.
Wow Room 18, I was blown away by all your creative work and it is always so lovely to still be learning as a grown up from the sharing of your knowledge! Mrs V.. See you next week!
You have been so busy Room 19. Maia isn't it great that your dad is helping to keep the deer numbers down and you get to have tasty pies etc from the process. Lithara Salads are my favourite food to eat. I made Mrs Steele's Curried cauliflower salad the other day and shared some with my neighbour just like you suggested. Sayuni you have a talent for drawing! What an amazing piece of art.
Nice work Marcus:)
