Today we were very lucky to have Coach Gabrielle come to Sunnyhills. We did some small ball and racquet skills. We will be having 3 sessions over the next few weeks. We cannot wait to learn more!

Howick Historical Village Trip

Today, 5 August, we visited the Howick Historical Village where we learnt about life in the olden days in NZ. The teachers were Mrs Cartwright and Mrs Taylor. In the old classroom we wrote on slate boards. For Arithmetic(Maths) a counting frame was used. 

We were able to play with indoor and outdoor toys from that time and we compared them to the toys we play with today.

Sunnyhills School Cross Country

Well done to all the Room 18 children who tried so very hard in the annual School Cross Country event. Congratulations to Alex for coming in 3rd place in the Year 4 race!
